We the KRENOVIANTZ’ 2010 Batch students of K.A.P Viswanatham Govt. Medical College, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu has come out with ACQUAINTANCE’2013 which is the first of its kind in the state of Tamilnadu. The Prime Objective of the magazine is to highlight the essential concepts on Pre-clinical subjects – Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.
In the purview of new examination pattern, students find it difficult to cope up with it. At this critical juncture, ACQUAINTANCE’ 2013
will help our First Year Juniors come out with flying colors in their forthcoming Examinations.

And it is of no doubt that ACQUAINTANCE’ 2013 will satisfy the needs of First Year Medicos for rapid review in the pursuit of their First Year MBBS Degree Exam Preparation.
We are inspired by CICERONE, a Complete 1st Professional MBBS manual of Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram which has seen its successful 13th edition so far. ACQUAINTANCE Team has put in their maximum efforts to compile the articles in this book referring standard textbooks. It is human to err and we hope the students would bear with us for any mistakes.

Inspite of lots of hardships and discouragements we faced while preparing this article, we made it atlast. We extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our Professors and fellow mates who were the pillars of support in the making of this book without whom the book would not have come to light. Last but not the least, we thank our College Council members of 2009 Batch who guided us a lot and paved the way for its Official Release.
We expect our juniors to keep up the same trend in the future editions of ACQUAINTANCE…
